Introduction
The general subject of the symposium is "Auditory plasticity". The concept is to consider this topic from different perspectives, including current physiological concepts, perceptual measures and models as well as implications for new technical applications.

Abstracts for free papers and posters
FREE PAPERS: Contributed oral presentations will be 20 minutes including 5 minutes
for questions.
POSTERS: Poster will be on display during all days. There will be poster sessions Wednesday and Thursday and social activities in the poster area in the evenings.
Send an abstract of maximum 200 words by e-mail to: isaar@elektro.dtu.dk. See abstract info. Deadline 01 May 2013. Contributions will be evaluated by the organizing committee. Notification of acceptance/rejection will be given within three to four weeks. Authors of accepted presentations and posters will be given the opportunity to submit a written version (max 8 pages) that will be printed in the symposium proceedings.
Symposium Fee
Participant fee is DKK xxxx,- . The fee covers participation in
the symposium; full accommodation including single room for
2 nights (Wed-Thu-Fri); all meals and social activities during the symposium and a copy of the symposium proceedings.
Reduced fee, DKK xxxx,- each, if two participants are sharing a double room. The fee covers participation in
the symposium; accommodation for
2 nights (Wed-Thu-Fri); all meals and social activities during the symposium and a copy of the symposium proceedings.
Student fee, NO room, is DKK xxxx,- . This is intented for graduate students. The fee covers participation in
the symposium; all meals and social activities during the symposium and a copy of the symposium proceedings.
Spouse fee is DKK xxxx,- including all
meals and room shared with a participant.
Full refund for registration before 23 May 2013
Deadline for cancellation with full refund (excl. handling charge
DKK 500,-) is 23 May 2013. No refund is available after this
deadline.
Instruction to authors
POSTERS: Poster areas are 1.5 m high and 1.2 m wide. Possibility for mains connection (230 V AC).
Manuscripts from both oral- and poster presentations will be published in the proceedings book and distributed to all participants after
the symposium. Manuscripts must be delivered (in electronic
form) to the organizers by the end of the symposium.
TEMPLATE FOR MANUSCRIPTS
For lay-out of manuscripts, authors must follow the manus template (.doc) NB! This template may be changed. The manuscripts of the invited speakers are limited to 12
pages including figures. Contributed papers (including poster
presentations) are restricted to 8 pages including the figures.
The final printed layout imply a reduction to about 83% of original size. All figures will be printed
in B/W. Send the manuscript to isaar@elektro.dtu.dk.

Conference venue
The conference will take place at the end of August 2013 at Hotel Nyborg Strand which is situated in the middle of Denmark. (GPS coordinates: Lat: N 55º 19' 5.74" Long: E 10º 48' 43.88" ). The distance from Copenhagen Airport (CPH) is about 140 km, about 1½ hour by train. See www.nyborgstrand.dk

Nearest airport is Copenhagen Airport "Kastrup Lufthavn" (CPH).
From the airport you will find trains directly to Nyborg. (Duration: 1h40m)
Nyborg Railway Station is about a five-minutes drive from Hotel Nyborg Strand. Taxi dkr. 60,- (approx. 10 US$)
If you like walking, there is a 15-minutes 'Nature Path' between the railway station and the hotel.
Use "Rejseplanen" to assist your planning of local transportation.
On planning your return, prepare 2 hours for transport to Copenhagen Airport and another 2 hours for check-in and security check in the airport.
